Charlotte Du Bujeau, often called simply Charley, was a member of Torchwood Los Angeles in the 1970s.
Charley was a cat burglar who joined Torchwood after she attempted to steal a diamond that was in actuality an alien entity.
While investigating Valerie Fox's disappearance, Charley went to Don Donohue's office pretending to be an actress. She was abducted and taken to the Dollhouse, an alien auction that traded in young females.
She successfully liberated Valerie Fox from Donohue's clutches, but was fatally shot in the process. (AUDIO: The Dollhouse)
