I've seen in multiple places (including the iPlayer subtitles and the Doctor Who website) that it's spelt Vardy, as the writer named it after someone named Vardy. Should this be renamed? Vardy?[[edit source]]

I've seen in multiple places (including the iPlayer subtitles and the Doctor Who website) that it's spelt Vardy, as the writer named it after someone named Vardy. Should this be renamed? StevieGLiverpool 01:38, April 23, 2017 (UTC)

After doing some research I can confirm it is 'Vardy'. They were named after Andrew Vardy, a professor in swarm robotics. The proof is here: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/mun-prof-dr-who-vardies-1.4079891 The preceding unsigned comment was added by Borisashton (talk • contribs) .
Oh, cool stuff. But doesn't the Doctor use both "Vardy" and "Vardies" as a plural? I could swear I heard that.
