The edit currently reads "Although "whitewashed" by history, Jesus was, in fact, black, according to the Twelfth Doctor. (TV: Thin Ice) " but is this not a little more specific than the actual televised dialogue? What's actually spoken can just as easily be interpreted as a reference to persons of Middle-Eastern origin having darker complexions than northern Europeans; whereas saying "Jesus was black" implies African heritage.109.145.16.142talk to me 08:48, April 30, 2017 (UTC)

I agree! --HarveyWallbanger 08:45, May 1, 2017 (UTC)
Actually the conversation went:
::Bill: "So... Regency England, bit more black than they show in the movies."
::The Doctor: "So was Jesus. History's a whitewash."
As I read it, it is clear reference to Jesus specifically. --DCLM 09:14, May 1, 2017 (UTC)
