:No source necessary, as community consensus and common sense conclude it's a joke. Also, I'm not at all suggesting that the fact it is a joke means it can't have a page. Imo, it's fine as is. --Time Lord ☎ 21:38, May 8, 2017 (UTC)

::: I know this is an old discussion, but I just wanna say I wouldn’t be at all surprised if some Faction Paradox story includes him in a real sense in future. I don’t doubt the writer didn’t intend for Pete to be real, but I equally don’t doubt that the DWU’s consensus will eventually end up that he is. Joke?edit source

Can we be sure that the character of Pete is a joke? With how Twelve is we can hardly prove it, and I say it's better to be safe than sorry. That is, let's assume he's a real character until evidence is provided to the contrary. Cats12 (Talk) 19:32, May 8, 2017 (UTC)

It seems pretty obvious it's meant as a joke. --Time Lord 20:12, May 8, 2017 (UTC)
It is a joke. But that does in no way mean he can't have a page. --DCLM 20:40, May 8, 2017 (UTC)

"It is a joke" you say, but surely we need a source for this? We could say it's ambiguous as to whether Pete is real or not. Cats12 (Talk) 21:05, May 8, 2017 (UTC)

No source necessary, as community consensus and common sense conclude it's a joke. Also, I'm not at all suggesting that the fact it is a joke means it can't have a page. Imo, it's fine as is. --Time Lord 21:38, May 8, 2017 (UTC)
The Doctor and Bill exchange smiles over the joke, and we witness moments of realisation. There is no doubt that this is a joke, but, as has been said, that is not a reason for Pete not to have a page.

I know this is an old discussion, but I just wanna say I wouldn’t be at all surprised if some Faction Paradox story includes him in a real sense in future. I don’t doubt the writer didn’t intend for Pete to be real, but I equally don’t doubt that the DWU’s consensus will eventually end up that he is. 217.44.55.79talk to me 14:32, May 11, 2020 (UTC)
