Badblood was a forbidden planet. It sat beneath a layer of atomised carbon. It had a human colony which was cut of from the rest of the Earth Empire after the colonists wouldn't agree to trade tariffs. This led some to believe the colony had failed. Its original settlers were of Chinese and European descent. The planet had a vampire curse, and since vampires attacked during the night the cities needed to be mobile in order to follow the light.
