Stefan was a gravedigger living in Klimtenburg during the 19th century. He was killed by the Cybermen while digging a grave for Liza Clemp, and they cut off his leg and used it to replace one of their limbs that was damaged after their ship crashed. (PROSE: Plague of the Cybermen)
