Solar farms were areas on a Mondasian colony ship that used light to create power.
They were typically big country like areas as seen on floor 0507 and floor 0502, contrasted greatly with the city like area of floor 1056. They had fuel lines situated throughout, which Nardole could ignite to destroy Cybermen.
