Sara was the wife of the anthropologist and travel writer Lee Deverill. When their group visited Shadow Cay, which was in reality a disguised Sycorax spaceship, she was murdered by the Gilfane Craw. Her skull was worn around the Gilfane Craw's neck. (COMIC: The Widow's Curse)
