Scullup was the boss of Marsh, and a member of EarthCom's Natural History Unit, Interplanetary Division. He sent Marsh on an assignment to film the Geluban Quess and, when the footage was found to be unusable, sent him on a punishment quest to Erindra to obtain footage of the Gadot's mating rituals.
After five months, Marsh returned with footage of the Gadot. However, Scullup ignored that footage, instead focusing on the footage of the Fourth Doctor that Marsh had obtained.
