"Producer Derrick Sherwin makes an uncredited cameo appearance as a UNIT commissionaire, making him the only person involved in the series as both producer and actor, as well as the second of five people (the others being Victor Pemberton, Glyn Jones, Mark Gatiss, and Toby Whithouse) involved as both writer and actor."
As this article states, it was an uncredited cameo appearance.  And as the article for Doctor Who and the Silurians confirms, Barry Letts made an uncredited cameo appearance in that story.  So he can be added to both lists!  And Terrance Dicks and Trevor Ray make the cut for the second list as well.165.225.76.164talk to me 12:20, May 2, 2018 (UTC)

Did 1995 release include the song?edit source

It says the 1995 VHS release was unedited. Does that mean the Fleetwood Mac song was included? I was under the impression the 2011 DVD release was the first time the song had been included in a home video edition of the story. 68.146.64.9 14:26, January 25, 2011 (UTC)

I was mistaken in my earlier edit. Oh Well did appear on the 1995 VHS release. A quick Gallifrey Base search cleared this out. Mennenennen 17:08, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
The 1995 VHS release included the song by accident - it wasn't cleared in advance. It may mention that already on the Gallifrey Base article, but I've not read it.165.225.76.70talk to me 14:26, November 22, 2017 (UTC)

I hear you knockingedit source

During the DVD Special features, there is an interview with Jon Pertwee in 1994, there is a brief period where it sounds as though someone is hammering something. Is this on all DVDs? 137.158.153.203 09:47, September 1, 2011 (UTC)

Uncredited castedit source

I've moved the uncredited cast to the talk page until they can be properly sourced (not IMDB). Shambala108 01:41, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

Uncreditededit source

Two years later, adding more unsourced cast:

Uncredited cast members must be properly sourced. Otherwise they do not belong on the story pages. Shambala108 00:57, October 16, 2014 (UTC)

Uncredited crewedit source

Removed uncredited crewmembers from crew list. Please do not add back without citations. -- Tybort (talk page) 11:41, September 8, 2015 (UTC)

Blu-rayedit source

"It is the first and only Doctor Who story of the classic era to be released in the Blu-ray format." This isn't correct. The first Doctor Who story to be released in the "Blu-ray format" was Pyramids of Mars. A SD copy is included in the Sarah Jane adventures, season 4. 165.225.80.59talk to me 09:32, August 11, 2016 (UTC)

John Woodnuttedit source

"John Woodnutt (Hibbert) would subsequently appear in Doctor Who with Jon Pertwee in Frontier in Space (as the Draconian Emperor) and with Tom Baker in Terror of the Zygons (as both the Duke of Forgill and Broton, warlord of the Zygons)."

It seems odd to have mention of Frontier in Space, and Terror of the Zygons, but not The Keeper of Traken.165.225.80.225talk to me 12:29, November 17, 2017 (UTC)

Please feel free to add this info if you feel it should be there. I have a guess regarding why it wasn't on the page. The sentence is more focused on the Doctors Woodnutt played with than on his roles. So he played with the Third Doctor again and also played with the Fourth Doctor is the main message. Amorkuz 13:07, November 17, 2017 (UTC)
Actually, we don't allow cast notes on story pages. The information has been removed. Shambala108 13:08, November 17, 2017 (UTC)

If you browse through audio and television story pages, you might notice that there are hardly any cast notes; this is because they were removed a few years ago (mostly by User:CzechOut and a few by me). Any that are still there have slipped in under the radar. Shambala108 15:53, November 17, 2017 (UTC)

Two Heartsedit source

"In the scenes at the hospital in episode one, while a chest x-ray would show at least the shadow of the patient's heart, the image used appears to be a graphic of the skeleton within a regular human torso, not an x-ray - there is no soft tissue or soft tissue shadow of the heart or diaphragm. So, when the hospital doctor and nurse point out two hearts, there are actually no hearts in the picture."

The two hearts are quite clearly visible. Yes, it's a graphic of a skeleton, but surely that's no more important than the radar image of the spheres being a graphic, not a real radar image.165.225.80.225talk to me 14:30, November 17, 2017 (UTC)

Remembering Barryedit source

"Producer Derrick Sherwin makes an uncredited cameo appearance as a UNIT commissionaire, making him the only person involved in the series as both producer and actor, as well as the second of five people (the others being Victor Pemberton, Glyn Jones, Mark Gatiss, and Toby Whithouse) involved as both writer and actor."
