Mentu was the eldest son and successor to Pharaoh Erimem, named after her favourite brother, in an alternative timeline. His younger brother Thutmose viewed him as weak and attempted to assassinate him, but Mentu and Erimem joined forces to defeat Thutmose's plan. Erimem, fearing Thutmose was right about Mentu's gentle nature, ordered Mentu to attend Thutmose's castration to harden him in preparation for him to succeed her as Pharaoh. (PROSE: Echoes)
