:We decided a few years back to leave the incarnation numbers as they were before the War Doctor showed up. It might take me a while to find the forum discussions in question, and I will post them here when I find them, but the short version is that we aren't necessarily going to change thousands of links just because a showrunner decides to muck things up. The conclusion was that it's just much simpler to leave them the way they were.
