The Armageddon virus was a computer virus which a group of Earth cyber terrorists used at some point before 2009 in an attempt to bring down the entire international banking network. They were stopped by the FBI, and afterwards circulated under security experts. When Mr Smith tried to destroy Earth, Alan Jackson — having acquired it from "unorthodox contacts" — gave this virus to Sarah Jane Smith who used it to erase his memory. (TV: The Lost Boy)
