The lawyer was called to Count Rolf Wittenmeier when he was arrested on charges of murder in Vienna, Austria on 11 September 1873.
He did not arrive as quickly as the Count had expected. When in the evening Countess Mitzi Wittenmeier, the Count's wife, arrived at the police station with the Eighth Doctor and Mary Shelley, the police sergeant mistook the Doctor for the ordered lawyer. The consequent attack on the Count has made the service of the lawyer redundant. (AUDIO: The Silver Turk)
