Tadcaster was a seaside resort in Southern England. Joe was born in the town and, despite being blind, knew its streets intimately. The Master once tried to import Sarkan mist-flowers to Earth, beginning at Tadcaster, but was thwarted by Joe and the Third Doctor. (COMIC: Fogbound)
