Geoffrey Gatlin, also known as Geoff, was a mechanic on Lethe.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Geoff lived on Lethe where he worked for Davros, who was going by "Professor Vaso", as a mechanic, helping to repair unearthed Mechonoids to become Juggernauts. He was quickly rejected by his friend and colleague Sonali Akhtar as a romantic partner and was later attracted to Melanie Bush, who never explicitly ruled out the possibility of them being in a relationship.

When the Sixth Doctor arrived on Lethe, Geoff was upset by Mel's impending departure and gave her a music box which played "Ave Maria" by Schubert. He and Sonali worked to evacuate the base's personnel when the Renegade Daleks attacked, with Geoff distracting Davros's Imperial Daleks and locking them up before sacrificing himself to the planet's powerful winds to destroy them. (AUDIO: The Juggernauts)

Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]

Mel mourned Geoff and the relationship that they might have had. She left the music box that he gave to her on the Dalek mothership before leaving with the Doctor in the TARDIS. (AUDIO: The Juggernauts)
