The Kalazian Lights seen from the night sky of Earth in the 2000s. (TV: The Lost Boy)

The Kalazian Lights were a meteorite shower, a celestial event in which a number of streaks of light could be observed to radiate in the night sky. Those lights were notably visible from Earth in the 2000s and four thousand years previously, around 2000 BC. On the former occurrence, Sarah Jane Smith witnessed the phenomenon from her attic, in the company of her son Luke and her neighbours, Maria and Alan Jackson. From the point of view of an Earthling, the streaks of light seemed to originate from the "shoulder" of Orion—a vaguely human-shaped constellation—just below Bellatrix. (TV: The Lost Boy)
