Simon Murchford was a crewmember of the R101 in 1930. Charlotte Pollard got him drunk and stole his uniform, posing as him to experience the adventure of being on an airship. (AUDIO: Storm Warning)
He visited Charley's parents Lord Richard and Lady Louisa Pollard after the crash of the R101 on 5 October 1930. (AUDIO: The Fall of the House of Pollard)
Charley met the older Murchford in the dream created by the Kro'ka. He was the chaplain for the Cardington RAF base, having succeeded Matthew Townsend after his death in 1951. (AUDIO: The Next Life)
