Mr Purcell was the father of Christian Purcell. He and his wife were both possessed by Isaac Greatorex but had "no stamina" and died too soon for his purposes. After their deaths, Christian was taken to live with Mr Purcell's brother Gavin. (HOMEVID: The Devil of Winterborne)
