Music and Monsters

Article currently says that Music and Monsters concert was broadcast several weeks before TRB. Is that true? I thought it was first broadcast on Christmas Day, with the Doctor Who Confidential of the day being about that "Red Button" broadcast. It took place, live, before this episode, but I don't think it was available beyond the confines of the concert hall until Christmas Day. Anyone British know? Reference to Torchwood? (The TV series, not the actual organization)

In the episode, when the Doctor, Donna, and Lance discover the underground floor of H.C. Clements (Which is also under the Thames flood barrier), the following dialogue occurs:

The Doctor: Thames flood barrier! Right on top of us. Torchwood snuck in and built this place underneath.

Donna: What, there's like a secret base hidden underneath a major London landmark??

The Doctor: I know! Unheard of.

The Torchwood Three Hub is located under Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff, which is also a major London landmark. Has no one noticed this??

Can someone please explain how Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff is a major London landmark? Aside from the massive fact Cardiff is a different city it is also a good couple of hundred miles away in a different country (Wales). Anyone? Clarkey3262 23:55, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

The Nestene Consciousness was also hidden under a major London landmark, and while Torchwood One wasn't exactly under it, it was in Canary Wharf. Then there's UNIT, which appears to be under the Tower of London. I figured one or more of those was what the Doctor was referring to. Rachelkachel 19:49, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

Lance

I don't think this was explained in the episode. How exactly did Lance understand what the Racnos Empress was saying, since he never travelled in the TARDIS? Or was the Empress actually speaking English, since she had presumably witnessed all of human existence since the creation of the Earth? It's not explicitly explained anywhere, but I think it's safe to say that the Empress had a translation device, or else learned to speak English. TheOmnius 18:52, September 2, 2010 (UTC)

Huon Particles and the sonic

Huon particles undetectable by the sonic?

First time we see the Doctor sonic Donna on the TARDIS when he's ranting about why she's in the TARDIS, the sonic doesn't detect anything. But later on the doctor uses the sonic to make sure Donna is clean of the particles. So, why did it not detect the particles in the begining?

Toilet?!

It says on the Trivia that the reason the Doctor was hopping up and down at the ATM was because he needed the toilet. Is this true?! I always thought that the Doctor was just a very animated guy. Discofurby ☎ 21:05, May 17, 2019 (UTC)

It hasn't been confirmed by anyone, but frankly, from watching that scene over and over again, I can't think of any other explanation as to why he would be hopping on the spot like that, let alone have that facial expression. It was like a minute and a half waiting, only someone with an impatient bladder would have a "problem" with that. Also, in "Army of Ghosts", he walks the wrong way (to the left) when (supposedly) going to see the breach. The sign on the wall is shown to explain that the cantina is on the left. We don't allow speculation on any article pages. "It hasn't been confirmed by anyone" means the entry has been removed. "I can't think of any other explanation" falls flat when User:Discofurby actually gives another reason in the above post: "the Doctor was just a very animated guy."
