Dr Sophie Rousseau was a counsellor that specialised in hypnotherapy. She worked for the Committee and hypnotised the 2003 Salzburg shooter into committing the act.

Jacques Fournier, who suffered from post-traumatic stress after his time in the army, was another patient of hers. In April 2004, on a day that Fournier was to drive Neil Redmond, Dr Rousseau put him in a trance and had him crash the car, killing himself and crippling Redmond. This allowed for the Committee to introduce NJ.

A week after the car crash, Dr Rousseau was stabbed to death. (AUDIO: Uncanny Valley)
