On 15 March 2069, Fort Knox was attacked, with Captain Black being spotted in the area; Spectrum forces flew in. Captain Scarlet was believed to have entered the complex on this day. The following day, the complex exploded, shortly before being retro-metabolised in front of Spectrum agents. On 31 March, Scarlet finally emerged from the complex.
On 14 May, following months of secrecy, Captain Scarlet told of the foiled Mysteron plot to transform Fort Knox's gold into tin, ruining world economy. (PROSE: January to June [+]Loading...["January to June (short story)"])
