The Sapphire Waterfall was a place on the Multifaceted Coast on the planet Midnight. An enormous jewel the size of a glacier reached the Cliffs of Oblivion and shattered into smaller sapphire fragments, falling a hundred thousand feet into a crystal ravine.
It was a spectacular view and a waterfall palace was constructed at the site to facilitate tourism. Excursions to the waterfall were regularly organised by Crusader Tours from the central Leisure Palace, a four-hour, five-hundred-klik trip.
According to Professor Hobbes, the waterfall wasn't in fact made of sapphires due to the glacier's nature of being compound silicon with an iron pigmentation, as opposed to sapphire being an aluminium oxide. (TV: Midnight)
