V98 was a Voc that worked for Roboanalyst Volar Crick at the Kaldor Company Office. It greeted him after he returned from his compassionate leave and informed him that the Company had continued his experiments during his absence.
After Crick had an accident, Liv Chenka jokingly told V98 to burn his other hand should he continue his work. V98 did not realise that it was a joke and told her that to do so would be against its programming. (AUDIO: Love Me Not)
