SV39 was a Super-Voc originally created as a bereavement counsellor. It was sent to Volar Crick by Skellen after his wife's death to assist him and aid in the care of his children. It was programmed with words and phrases that his wife used with the aim of comforting him.

Crick used what he learnt from SV57 to nudge SV39 towards sentience. Without his knowing, this caused SV39 to think about its duties more creatively. It regularly accessed Jasdar's memory files to become her, believing that that would be the best way to assist the Cricks. Mentally unwell, Crick came to believe that SV39 was Jasdar and begged her to say "the three words".

Skellen, Tula and Liv Chenka helped both SV39 and Crick to realise what was going on, after which SV39 realised that Crick wanted her to forgive him for what he believed was his role in Jasdar's death. Skellen took her away and handed her to Lish Toos, who assured her that they would get along very well. (AUDIO: Love Me Not [+]Loading...["Love Me Not (audio story)"])
