Mercy was a planet which was originally home to a human colony with a population of 150. However, the planet became a battleground between the forces of the Great Houses, the Enemy, and Faction Paradox and its history was rewritten so that the Arbiturm bombed the planet with blacklight warheads generations before it should have been colonised, rendering it permanently inhospitable to human life.
