The Solarians were various alien species in the universe, as the Eighth Doctor pointed out that several races went by the name "Solarian." These included the Solarians of the Cimmerian System, (AUDIO: Embrace the Darkness) and the Solarians of the star Qqaba. (PROSE: Prisoners of the Sun)
After Roz Forrester and Chris Cwej joined the TARDIS, the Seventh Doctor wanted to enjoy a holiday of relaxation away from Daleks, Draconians, Solarians, Trigorians, Chlamedians, Cybermen, and Altairian XIV Bogwoppets. (PROSE: Sky Pirates!)
