The Red Commander of the Kangring Squadron was a Black Dalek with a red weapons platform and luminosity dischargers.
It left Skaro on a transolar disc to conquer the Solar System (COMIC: Invasion of the Daleks) in 2400. (PROSE: Break-through!) Taking off from the Skaro space stations, the Red Commander ordered Kangring Squadron to "set sonic pulsators to 75-100, intersecting Jupiter's orbit" then to report when online. (COMIC: Invasion of the Daleks)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Despite the name, the Red Commander is not depicted as a Red Dalek, a rank which had not been formally introduced to the Dalek hierarchy yet when The Dalek Book was released.
