David Solomons wrote the novels The Secret in Vault 13 and The Maze of Doom.
An interview with Solomons about his work on The Secret in Vault 13 was printed in DWM 532.

In 2016, David Solomons won the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize[1] and the British Book Industry Awards in the category Children's Book of the Year.[2]
