You may be looking for Persis (Mighty and Despair).

Persisalevatolla, commonly known as Persis, was a Time Lord Cardinal of the Patrex Chapter who studied at the Time Lord Academy, where Kroshen was her temporal classics master. When she was eight years old, Persis' looked into the Untempered Schism as part of the traditional rite of passage and saw only the possibility of adventure.

On Persis' final day at the Academy, a mere hours before her graduation, Kroshen approached her in the Rothe Tower library and recruited her for the Celestial Intervention Agency. Following her graduation and Kroshen's recruitment, Persis immediately entered training for the CIA. After she became a fully fledged agent, another agent sent her on a mission to the planet Manussa, where the Queen Manussa had converted the entire populace to a Mara worshipping cult, the Union of the Snake. (PROSE: The Terrible Manussa) A figure from an early Time Lord myth, it was unclear how much of Persis' history as recounted in myth was true. (PROSE: Introduction) The Gallifreyan people's early history was so distant and shrouded in mystery that later generations surmised some of their myths were in fact history, and some of their history was actually myth. (AUDIO: Enemy Lines)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

As The Terrible Manussa is based on the story of Medusa, Persis' name is likely based on Perseus, the hero of myth who beheaded her.
