::Well there are already plenty in-universe examples, it's a common title. Off the top of my head Ambril from Snakedance, Mantus from Gallifrey: Time War and Hilda Winters from Robot all hold the title and Ronnie Brockman from Big Dig is an actual television director. I'm certain there are plenty of others. For consistency, I would lean against renaming this page to the proposed title. No other page in :Category:Production team titles is named like that. There is precedent with a few real-world positions to be disambiguated with (crew), as in Researcher vs Researcher (crew). Or the in-universe term could be disambiguated as something like Director (profession). Renameedit source
I agree with the proposed rename to make way for a page on the in-universe use of the term. -- Saxon (✉️) 13:12, January 10, 2020 (UTC)
- I concur. We never know when an in-universe counterpart might pop up. --DCLM ☎ 13:29, January 10, 2020 (UTC)
- Well there are already plenty in-universe examples, it's a common title. No other page in Category:Production team titles is named like that. There is precedent with a few real-world positions to be disambiguated with (crew), as in Researcher vs Researcher (crew). Or the in-universe term could be disambiguated as something like Director (profession). Toqgers ☎ 18:59, May 16, 2020 (UTC)
