St Anthony's was a church on Canvey Island.

In 1953, Father Hemmings was the priest of St Anthony's. He used the crypt of the church to give Last Rites to what he thought were angels but were actually aliens that he had found washed up on the beach.

The Fifth Doctor and Peri Brown attended a service at St Anthony's in 1953. (PROSE: The Canvey Angels)
