"Luke Palmer" was the name used by a man controlled by Heights Pharmaceuticals. (AUDIO: "Invasion: Kill") To motivate Frances Godalming, the two were made to believe that they were married.
Luke escaped from a Heights facility and began spreading Invictus, looking for Dr Godalming to kill her. He was arrested by Andy Davidson and asked to speak to Torchwood, infecting Jack Harkness. Dr Godalming slipped him a gun and he escaped. (AUDIO: "Incubation: Know") He met Ianto Jones and sneaked into the Emergency Response Centre with him, later hiding in the backseat of his wife's car on Jack's direction. He told Dr Godalming that she should keep driving and they would see what happened. (AUDIO: "Invasion: Kill")
