Panna was the blind wise woman of the Kinda on Deva Loka.
Biography[[edit]]
Panna had an acolyte, Karuna, and was one of the few Kinda able to speak.
To make the human expedition understand the imminent return of the Mara, she endeavoured to deliver the Box of Jhana to Todd, the team's scientist and only female member.
When Todd and the Fifth Doctor met Panna, she gave them a vision of the cycle of death and rebirth the Mara heralded. At the conclusion of the vision, Panna died, still sitting upright. Her spirit passed on to Karuna. (TV: Kinda)
