"The Chariot", or "Because I Could Not Stop for Death", was a poem by Emily Dickinson. It went,
- Because I could not stop for Death
- He kindly stopped for me
- The carriage held but just ourselves
- And Immortality.
Once inside Torchwood Three, Max Tresilian chanted it to send the Hub into lockdown. (TV: They Keep Killing Suzie)
