Nationwide was a British television programme. The Third Doctor was a guest on the show during the conflict with General George Carrington and acquired a security badge. In 1976, the Seventh Doctor made several copies of the badge so that Broadsword and Plasticine could enter the BBC Television Centre unimpeded and stop the Vardan invasion. (PROSE: No Future)

Several Doctor Who cast members were interviewed on Nationwide during its run on BBC One. These interviews were later included as special features on the DVD releases of Day of the Daleks, The Five Doctors, Logopolis and The Stones of Blood.
