Majoral's great-great grandmother had been the mayor of her village in a time when people remembered that it had once been a city.
One day, when the Kotturuh arrived at the village green, she came to greet them. After a brief discussion, the Kotturuh informed her that her species had been granted a lifespan of three months. Within moments she was reduced to dust. (PROSE: The Dawn of the Kotturuh)
