Laura was a friend of Amy Pond.
In October of the Year of the Slow Invasion, she and her girlfriend held an engagement party, where Laura told Amy that the latter had missed a lot in the past year or two, and asked Amy to be her bridesmaid; Amy accepted. She and her girlfriend were married prior to the following June. (TV: The Power of Three)
