The Ryukyu Isles Mystery was the twenty-sixth short story of the Dalek Wars series, printed in issue 51 of Doctor Who: Battles in Time magazine.

Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]

Professor J. T. P. Kaslinsky writes in his diary about his dig on Okinawa Island, where he uncovered signs of a prehistoric battle 70 million years ago. UNIT takes over the dig and reveals the ripped-apart metal casings belonged to Daleks who had accidentally fallen through time and weakened their defensive abilities.
