The Seventh Corsair was a female incarnation of the Renegade Time Lord known as the Corsair, who travelled with a parrot as her companion. On at least two occasions, she opposed the Daleks, something the Corsair did rarely, although on neither occasion did she face them directly.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
This incarnation of the Corsair was "spotted" on Clarkor Nine on the night a Dalek scout ship landed there. Sneaking aboard, she detached the nine Dalek occupants' manipulator arms and gunsticks and then welded them together into "a shape that meant something very rude in Skarosian". (PROSE: Eleven Things You Probably Didn't Know About the Corsair)
As a favour for the First Doctor, the Corsair travelled to the City Obsidian in the Imperial Edifice of Infinite Steps to steal the Hand of Omega. Although pursued by troop ships belonging to the Supreme Leader, she escaped with the Hand of Omega and managed to deliver it to the First Doctor prior to him leaving Gallifrey as instructed. However, her Parrot companion did leave a single blue feather behind, which was discovered by the Supreme Leader. (PROSE: One Virtue, and a Thousand Crimes) The Doctor subsequently buried the Hand of Omega on 1963 Earth, setting in motion a centuries-long plan to destroy the Daleks. (TV: Remembrance of the Daleks, et al)
