Ermentrude Elspeth Saviltride was the grandmother of Peggy, Charley and Sissy Pollard.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
Ermentrude married a man and had at least two children: Jacques and Louisa Saviltride. (AUDIO: The Fall of the House of Pollard) When Louisa turned sixteen, she gave her a brooch which had been passed down her family matrilineally, per tradition. (AUDIO: Scherzo)
Known to them as Nana Saviltride, Ermentrude was grandmother to Louisa and Richard Pollard's daughters: Peggy, Charley and Sissy, the second of whom was given Ermentrude's middle name of Elspeth. She gave Charley a copy of Alice in Wonderland for Christmas in 1919, a copy which she later lost in school (AUDIO: Zagreus) but which found its way back to Richard's library.
Ermentrude had died by November 1936. At that time, Michael Dee was able to contact her in the afterlife and she delivered a message to Louisa. (AUDIO: The Fall of the House of Pollard)
