Circle of Transcendence

The Red Carnivorous Maw appears in Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor as a sort of recurring element throughout the run, originally known as the Circle of Transcendence. Essentially Aspect Red, one of the Time Sentinels takes control of it (turning it red) and uses it to attack the planet Aramuko.

Cleopatra Hunsicker then describes it as a "red carnivorous maw" and the name seems to stick, with the Doctor referring to it as that later in the comic and other characters calling it “the maw".

So I think perhaps both Circle of Transcendence and Red Carnivorous Maw should be situated on the same page. SarahJaneFan ☎ 00:52, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
