News Flash by Marx was an in-universe advertisement featuring the Daleks which was printed in the pages of TV Century 21 in 1965.

It contained a loose narrative depicting the Dalek invasion of Earth toyshops. This was significant as it marked, within the context of the rest of the magazine and The Daleks comic strip, the first time the Daleks were depicted as having knowledge of Earth's location, not to mention their launching of an invasion attempt. Later parodic and promotional content in TV21 followed this trend of making the Daleks a much more imminent threat than they appeared to be in valid sources as considered by this Wiki. The Golden Emperor would not properly announce the beginning of an Earth invasion until 1967's The Road to Conflict.
