The Splay-footed Hedron was a large creature found on Vigal Minor. The Sixth Doctor knew a man named Rudolph Musk who was swallowed whole by one. He decided to spend his last few minutes reciting one of his sonnets. This sonnet was so awful that the mucus around Musk evaporated, causing the Splay-footed Hedron to spit him up.
