The bus driver drove the Number 6 bus, which stopped at various places in East London including Coal Hill.
When the Fractures came into N-Space from the Void one of them temporally displaced the bus driver, hijacking his body and sending him into the Void. It then used his body to operate the Number 6 bus, temporally displacing any passengers that got on.
When the Twelfth Doctor reopened the Void, drawing the Fractures back in, the bus driver was returned to his body. (COMIC: The Fractures [+]Loading...["The Fractures (comic story)"])
