A guard was an employee of Euro Sea Gas.

He was on duty at the entrance to the compound when the refinery was on security alert. When Maggie Harris tried to leave the compound, he informed her that no-one was permitted to do so without a written pass from Chief Robson and ordered her back to the residential block.
