Jeet Kune Do was Bruce Lee's preferred approach to martial arts. Rather than being a strict set of rules, Jeet Kune Do was a guide which allowed a fighter to find their own specific style. Bruce likened it to Yin and yang, the two sides of the universe which, according to Chinese philosophy, "flow together in harmony".
When Ryan Sinclair was concerned that his dyspraxia was preventing him from fighting effectively, Bruce taught him the principles of Jeet Kune Do, helping him to see his stiff elbows and knees as assets. (COMIC: The White Dragon)
