One model of K9 was known to accompany the Seventh Doctor and Ace on their further travels sometime after the Cheetah Planet.

This K9 first appeared in 1993 during the Rani's temporal trap pulled on the Doctor. While this K9 might have been either K9 Mark I or K9 Mark II, (TV: Dimensions in Time [+]Loading...["Dimensions in Time (TV story)"]) one source suggested that this was actually a unique model that naturally traveled with the Seventh Doctor and Ace.
