Matka was a Sonchi forensic scientist. She didn't believe that Bernice Summerfield owned a Time Ring, and it didn't work for them.[statement unclear] She was a historian who wanted to take Benny to Zordin. (AUDIO: Year Zero)
She told Benny about the disappearance of Otek, and wanted to discover what happened. She made Benny jump from a spaceship in orbit. She was delighted when she could come to the surface.
