In Earth-33⅓, Andicapp was an Egyptian pharaoh. During their investigation of the Doctor in popular culture and mythology, Tim Quinn and Dicky Howett uncovered the lost tomb of Andicapp, where they found a papyrus dating back to 1000 BC or so. It depicted, among other things, the Fifth Doctor and a Cyberman. (COMIC: Who Was 'Ere! [+]Loading...["Who Was 'Ere! (comic story)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • Andicapp's name seems to be a reference to the British comic strip character Andy Capp, whose name in turn is a pun based on the pronunciation of the English word "handicap" in County Durham and Andy's hat obscuring his vision.
